 What types of coverage are available?
 
 

You will be able to evaluate health, dental, Life and accidental death and disability, short and long term disability as well as vision coverage in all 50 states. There are also services such as HR tools, benefits administration, COBRA/HIPAA administration, Flexible Spending Account administration, etc. The newest programs are discount health products and services.

 Is there a discount on health services through this program?
 
 

Insurance rates are regulated by state therefore discounts are not available on medical for less than 50 employees. Some types of insurances may qualify for proprietary program discounts with long rate guarantees or preferred underwriting.

Additional NEW web based tools are provided by Mercer for legislation, wellness, HR, etc. at no additional cost to participating members. These tools typically cost an individual firm several thousand dollars (depending on number of employees).

Depending on the specific plan you're interested in, you may need to answer some basic questions or provide evidence of good health before the insurance company approves your policy. Health exams may be requested for individual life and disability applications only.

  You will need to provide a census of all full-time employees (gender, age, home zip code, type of plans enrolled in now, and dependent, such as whether a spouse or children are covered). The representative will ask about any current insurance you are replacing and whether there are disabled persons, COBRA continuees or known health conditions that need to be covered.
